Welcome to the Rose Park Primary School Community! Rose Park is in the heart of the leafy Eastern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The school has some 350 students in 15 classes covering Reception to Year 7. The school has a highly regarded OSHC, a very active in-hours and after hours sports program, and a well developed reputation for drama, music and language. The school follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years program. With the completion of the new Library in late 2010 the school will have a resource centre second to none. The school community is very active and this website is one of the many initiaitives managed by the community. The aim is to provide a central place for students, families, sports managers and school staff to store and share information about life at the school and interact in a timely, accurate and interesting way. The content of each page on the site is managed in real time by the individual member of the community responsible for that particular page.

As you know, starting Term 3, the fortnightly school newsletter will be available from this website but will no longer be distributed in paper form. Apart from improving the speed and quality of communications within the school community, this change will also result in a $4,000 saving in paper and printing each year - money which can be put to a much better use! Click subscribe if you would also like to receive an email alert as soon as the newsletter is available online!
