Connecting the School Community

Welcome to the website for the Rose Park Primary School Community.  This site is an initiative of the Governing Council and is aimed at providing a better way to connect our school community in the digital age.  This initiative is fully supported by the school as it supports the drive to better connect Rose Park Primary School to it's community and to help make it's students leading digital learners who learn through inquiry.

Rose Park Primary School appreciates that members of it's community are very busy and so the school wants to provide them with the most effective and efficient means of receiving communications from the school.  The school is also very conscious of the need to:

• reduce our carbon footprint by reducing the use of paper
  
• reinforce to the children that they are living in a digital age and demonstrate the benefits of using electronic communications
  
• redirect to more worthwhile purposes the money saved by not printing and distributing paper communications

You'll see that this site allows much more interactivity between our whole community - parents, families, friends, old scholars, staff and students.  We are seeking to make this site a central part of what we do as a community.  To encourage you to use the site we aim to make the site as relevant, current and engaging as possible.
