Rose Park Primary School is a 'zoned' school which means that vacancies are restricted to children living within the 'zone of right' or at the discretion of the Principal.

- If the child is living within the 'zone of right' for the school then they will be entitled to enrol.
- If the child does not live in the 'zone of right' then enrolment is at the discretion of the Principal. Factors taken into consideration by the Principal include the schooling of siblings, the balance of ages, talents and interests across the school and any other educational matters at the time.
