Treasure Island This year's year 4/5 musical was a wonderful event for the community. The 96 students performing and the many student helpers backstage presented an engaging event.
Thank you to the entire community who were involved, students, parents, staff and extended community members.

Mitcham Primary School Band Workshop was held on 16th November. There were 50 members from out combined bands who took part. We performed 6 pieces for out audience and gained valuable experience. Thank you to Rob Chenoweth from Mitcham and teachers Dave Winnall and Sally Eads.
Instrumental Tuition 2012
Students in year 3 and above in 2012 should have recieved information about tuition next year. There have been 2 lots of information going home which has caused confusion. Instrumental Music Service have asked for separate information this year hence the layering. Apologies to those who have filled out multiple forms.

End of Year Celebrations
The School Picnic will be held on December the 6th and will feature school ensembles and a few smaller groups. The performance will begin at 6.00 in the hall and should be finished by 7.00.
Early years presentation will be held on Friday 9th December
1/2, 2 and year 3 will be performing at 10.00
R/! classes at 11.30
The Music Support Group is an informal group of people interested in the music programme. We meet periodically usually during the day to work with together to make sure the programme ticks along smoothly. In the past the MSG has helped formulate the policy and forms that the school uses and has offered a great deal of support in the way of feedback. We like to drink coffee and occasional wine but will be willing to accept drinkers of any beverage.
