Out of School Hours Care & Vacation Care
The Rose Park Primary School 'Out-of-School-Care program strives to offer the local community and surrounding areas with a safe, caring and ever-changing atmosphere, by providing children with recreational, social, physical and creative play experiences.
In July 2009, our Director Alicia Flowers was awarded the Out-of-School-Hours Care Association of South Australia award for "Director of the Year" - a well deserved award for her dedication and hard work.
Service Opening Times
The Rose Park Primary OSHC is open Monday to Friday (service is closed on all Public Holidays)
Before School – 7:40am to 8:40am
- A warm and friendly atmosphere where children can enjoy breakfast and activities before school
- Breakfast is served from 7.40am-8.30am.
After School – 3:20pm to 6:00pm
- A social environment where children can come after school. Each day at After School care chldren are provided with a healthy and nutritious snack for afternoon tea. Every afternoon tea begins with a healthy serve of fruit and is followed by a range of different snacks such as, home-made pizzas, chow mein, sandwiches and pin wheels just to name a few. Children are able to engage in a wide variety of activities and a homework group is available.

Active After School sport is also an intergral part of our program. Children are provided with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports for an hour, three days a week. This is a Federal government funded initiative designed to engage children in sport and to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Students have participated in a range of sports including: Tennis, AFL, Cricket, Netball , Soccer, Dodgeball, Volleyball, Ten Pin Bowling, Hockey, Capoera (Brazilian Dance), Table Tennis and Kung Fu to name just a few. By offering a range of sports children can experience new skills and eventually join a local club.
Term 1
4pm - 5pm
All Sports to be confirmed.......Afternoon Tea included, Bookings Essential.
BOOK IN AND GET ACTIVE
Vacation Care - 8:00am to 6:00pm
- All children are required to supply a water bottle, a broad-brimmed hat and recess and lunch each day they attend Vacation Care. Lunch is only provided on days that specify "Lunch is on us". OSHC will provide a healthy snack for afternoon tea and breakfast is available on request from 8am- 8.30am.
- The School Holiday Program is available to download in Week 7 this term for the up and coming July School Holidays. Please be reminded all bookings require a completed permission sheet and a $44 deposit per child
