Working bee
A working bee has been called for Saturday 14 August, from 9.00 am to midday. The Grounds committee have met and through Governing Council made some decisions on finalising the work commenced on our front garden. In summary, the logs in the garden will be shifted to the western end to create new paths, the gate at the western end of the front fence will be reopened, new picnic seats are being installed in this same area, and work will occur on the garden at the eastern end of the front yard.
Our jobs on the day include:
- planting in both eastern and western ends of the front yard
- installing pavers to mark out pathways where logs have been removed
- Installing the logs to make a pathway in from the western end gate.
With lots of helpers we are sure we can knock these jobs over in a couple of hours and this will then complete our front yard, ready for the spring weather.
A separate note calling on helpers (students included!!) will go home shortly.
