The Governing Council, school management and teachers and parents of the school believe that it is important for all students to adhere to this code as it helps to develop:
- a sense of belonging for the school
- self-esteem in the way that they present themselves
- respect for the way one looks as part of a group
- a sense of collegiality amongst peers
